PRIVACY POLICY OF ALTER BALTICS OÜ

- GENERAL PROVISIONS
- The Privacy Policy applies to all natural persons considered as clients and users (hereinafter: Client) who buy products and services from Alter Baltics OÜ (hereinafter: Alter), including via the E-shop, and visit the website of the company marine.ee.
- Alter is entitled to amend and supplement the Privacy Policy unilaterally. A valid Privacy Policy is always available on the website of the company.
- The Privacy Policy is a constitutive and integral part of the General Terms of Sale of Alter and the Terms of Use of the E-shop.
- Alter processes the personal data provided by the Client pursuant to the requirements laid down in the applicable law.
- Alter processes the personal data of the Client for the sale of products and services.
- Alter processes the personal data that is requested from the Client at the conclusion of a Contract (given name and surname, address for the delivery of products, phone number, e-mail address).
- The controller of the personal data of the Client is Alter Baltics OÜ, registry code 12026341, address Gaasi 4a, 11415 Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia.
- Alter does not transmit the personal data of the Client to third parties, except to:
- the performer of the installation of the products (Alter uses it’s contracted employees; Alter may use subcontractors for installation);
- the company providing transportation or courier service in the extent that is necessary for delivering the products to the Client;
- In the cases specified in clauses previously, the personal data of the Client is exclusively processed for the purpose of selling products and services and the authorised contracted employees ensure the same level of protection of personal data as Alter.
- Alter does not process the card data of the Client.
- When visiting the website of the company, Alter can collect the following non-personal data about the Client: the date and time of the visit of the website, information downloaded from the website, information about the browser name and operating system, the internet service provider of the Client, and other similar information. Such data is processed anonymously and is used to improve the functionality of the website.
- The Client has the right to access their personal data at any time and require the correction or deletion of such data, unless otherwise provided by law.
- PROCESSING OF THE PERSONAL DATA OF CLIENTS
- DIRECT MARKETING AND SATISFACTION SURVEYS
- Alter may, with the consent from the Client, use the personal data provided to send the Client newsletters, information about special offers, campaigns, and offers, and conduct satisfaction surveys.
- Personal data may be processed by Alter if processing is necessary for legitimate interests: if Client have entered into a binding agreement with Alter, Alter may send a customer satifaction survey at the end of the year to improve the products and related services Alter offers.
- Alter may use the personal data of the Client and purchase statistics to perform a profile analysis to better understand the expectations of the Client and, therefore, offer better products and services to the Client. Alter does not make any decisions of legal significance to the Client as a result of the profiling.
- If the Client has expressed their wish to receive newsletters and/or personal offers of Alter, the Client is entitled to withdraw from receiving them at any time by sending a respective notice to the e-mail address marine@marine.ee of Alter.
- The website of Alter uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file the web browser automatically saves to the device used by the user. Cookies are used to collect information on how the user uses the website – with the aim to provide a better user experience to the user.
- The following cookies are used on the website:
- session cookies designed to allow website usage;
- permanent cookies designed to remember the choices made by the Client on the website;
- first and/or third-party cookies designed to show ads and offers suitable for the Client;
- third-party analytics cookies designed to optimise marketing communication.
- Users can delete and/or block their cookies stored on their devices by modifying their browser settings. If the cookies are not used, the website might not work as intended and/or some functions may not be available to users.
- In addition to the use of analytical cookies, the website uses pixels (pixel tags, web-beacons), which monitor the use of the website. During this, data enabling the identification of the personal is not used.
